The OMIK Scholarship Fund

One of the fundamental purposes of the OMIK Amateur Radio Association, Inc. is to, "Encourage and motivate youth to further their education beyond high school through scholarships and other financial assistance."

This purpose is met each year through a partnership with the OMIK Scholarship Fund.

Raising money is always challenging but the OMIK Scholarship Fund is our way of PAYING IT FORWARD to these future scholars and leaders.

The OMIK Scholarship Fund is a 501(c)3 NonProfit - Federal Tax ID is #33-1009626.

An OMIK Scholarship is available to any high school senior or presently enrolled college student who is pursuing an education beyond high school.  The OMIK Scholarship Program supports students who have proven to be academically able and who are or will be majoring in electronics, mathematics, science, or communications.

The OMIK Scholarship Fund is a separate organization from the OMIK Amateur Radio Association, Inc. and was established to manage and administer the OMIK Scholarship Program. The IRS has designated the OMIK Scholarship Fund a 501(c)(3) charity.  Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Applications are accepted beginning January 1 of each year. All parts of the scholarship application including the essay, transcript, and two letters of recommendation must be complete and received by the committee on or before MAY 1st OF EACH CALENDAR YEAR.
