I am pleased to announce that at this year's convention in St. Louis, Missouri there will be a new shoot-out category "PEDESTRIAN MOBILE SHOOTOUT". This mode of operation is for those of you who have remote operating capability. Bring your laptops, Blackberries, Droids, etc. if you want to participate. This will be an excellent opportunity to test your skills in remote operation and embrace new technology.
The shoot-out will be held:
Saturday, July 17, 2010
Time: 9:30 - 10:00 a.m.
Location: Hotel "Plaza 3" room.
Bands: 20 meters (14.295) / 40 metesr (7.185)
Entry Fee: $20.00 (50/50 to winner)
Each participant will be allowed five (5) minutes to make contacts after their initial setup.
Thanks to Ritner Nesbitt, N4BNM, and Moody T. Law, WQ6I, for taking the initiative to spearhead this operation.
For those of you who need information on how to set up remote operation, and what programs to use for such. I strongly suggest that you get in touch with Rit - N4BNM at ritnesb@bellsouth.net or Moody - WQ6I at wq6i@earthlink.net .
* Rit - N4BNM will be hosting a tech session on July 17th, check for time and location at the convention site.

Target Shooting
